Matthew Lewis and Tom Felton keep Hogwarts rivalry alive, and JK Rowling couldn't be more proud
The old Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry is showing no signs of slowing down, as Matthew Lewis and Tom Felton waged war on Twitter.
The actors channelled their inner Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy over a cricket match they were both playing in on Sunday (August 29), and JK Rowling couldn't have been more proud.
It all began innocently enough, as Lewis tweeted that he was excited by the trailer for Felton's new film Risen.
However, the old Hogwarts rivalries soon came to the boil, as Felton tweeted "#gryffinwho?", before Lewis joked that his friend was going to get "Slytherinised".
This prompted the Harry Potter author to show her pride in the actors, rejoicing that "even after all these years, they still want to kick each other's arses".
Ultimately, Malfoy had the last laugh, and his team didn't get "Slytherinised" after all.
JK Rowling is very active on social media, and frequently gives fans snippets of information from the wizarding world through Twitter or her website Pottermore.
She recently praised a fan theory that Dumbledore is Death in the The Tale of the Three Brothers.

So proud of my boys. Even after all these years, they still want to kick each other's arses.pic.twitter.com/nwQI7s4jka
