It's official - Taylor Swift is the queen of the MTV Video Music Awards and Kanye West is running for president!

Swift dominated Sunday night's 2015 MTV ceremony, winning the coveted Video of the Year Award for the all-star 'Bad Blood' clip and also taking home Best Female Video and Best Pop Video for 'Blank Space'.

MTV VMAs 2015: All of the night's winners as they're announced

"I'm just proud we live in a world where boys can play princess and girls can play soldier," Swift told the audience while accepting Video of the Year Award.

Swift was all over tonight's MTV telecast, starting off the show by making peace with Nicki Minaj on stage and later giving her one-time enemy Kanye West the prestigious Video Vanguard Award.

Other major winners throughout the ceremony included Minaj for Best Hip-Hop Video for 'Anaconda' and Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk' for Best Male Video.

Minaj's acceptance speech took an awkward turn when she called out the night's host Miley Cyrus for her recent response to Minaj complaining about 'Anaconda' being shut out of the Video of the Year category.

In addition to announcing a 2020 bid for the White House while receiving the Video Vanguard Award, West also shared the award for Best Video with a Social Message for 'One Man Can Change the World' with John Legend and Big Sean.

While he didn't walk away with any moonman statues, Justin Bieber did make an emotional return to the stage to perform his latest single 'What Do You Mean?' for the first time.

Miley Cyrus hosted the 2015 MTV VMAs from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles - and capped off the event by announcing the release of a surprise album.
