9 reasons Peter Andre's hypnotising torso grind will NAIL Strictly Come Dancing
Has Peter Andre got the foxtrot Flava for the dance-floor? The 'Mysterious Girl' singer has been confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing and will join the likes of Jeremy Vine and Georgia May Foote for the BBC1 ballroom dancing competition.
But can the popstar actually dance? Will he set the dance-floor alight like the limber Caroline Flack, or be as stiff and as wooden as poor Judy Murray?
What better way to answer our own question than to dig out some of his memorable pop videos and live performances for a quick judge before Bruno Tonioli, Craig Revel Horwood and co do.
1. The hypnotising torso grind
Will Peter Andre be this year's Mark Wright? And how long will it take him to go shirtless and perform this trademark move from his classic music video for 'Mysterious Girl'?
2. The shirt removal move
Let's hope Peter is a touch smoother if he'll be removing his clothing than he was when he danced and stripped off for this unsuspecting pregnant woman during his60 Minute Make-Over on ITV.
3. The crouch and hand flick
Remember Peter Andre's song 'All Night, All Right' featuring Warren G and Coolio? Neither do we, but he pulled out some imaginative moves (and a questionable silver tracksuit).
4. The hand on bum
Celebrity contestants and their Strictly pro partners often get up close and personal - which sometimes leads to off-screen romances. It looks like Andre has had plenty of experience performing with dancers, so he's well-versed in that department.
5. The microphone stroke
We're not particularly sure what move Peter is attempting to pull off here, but the two fans up on stage with him don't seem to care in the slightest.
6. The arm swing
Pete manages to swing his arm rapidly and while raising and shaking his leg - we reckon he's going to be a pro at dancing.
7. The Michael Jackson Body Slide
The star often impersonates Michael Jackson on stage, so it's almost 100% certain that he'll perform a dance routine to one of the King of Pop's hits.
8. The Michael Jackson Spin
And he might just nail it...
9. Good luck, Peter!
